Dr. Valdez is an associate veterinarian at the Pet Hospital of Redlands & Urgent Care. She grew up in New Jersey where she attended University of Massachusetts Amherst for her undergraduate degree in pre-veterinary sciences. She then ventured to the United Kingdom for vet school where she attended the Royal Veterinary College in and just outside of London. She came to California after graduating in 2020, where she entered general practice for the last 5 years with 2 years of urgent care experience.
Dr. Valdez possesses strengths and recognitions in feline internal medicine, recently being honored with the Royal Canin Early Veterinarian Scholarship through the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. She also enjoys preventative medicine, dermatology and surgery. She is passionate about animal welfare, shelter and rescue work, and educating her clients and surrounding community regarding health and preventative care for their pets.
She currently lives in Redlands with her husband, two boys, a husky/shepherd mix called Kara, and two cats called Mirri and Luka. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her children, reading, watching scary movies & true crime, and exercising. She also values self-care and mental health so she can clearly focus on her patients and mission of providing them the best care.
